Things people ask about Competitive Refinement.
Will you use underwater video?
Yes, when it helps. Underwater video shows exactly what the stroke is doing at the catch and the pull. We review it together and pick one thing to fix at a time.
Can you help with race starts and turns?
Yes. Turns and starts are often where swimmers leave the most time on the clock. We work them without needing race blocks in most cases.
Do you write practice plans?
We write take-home sets so the swimmer can keep working solo between lessons. The lessons themselves are focused on technique, not yardage.
Do you coach masters swimmers?
Yes. Masters swimmers coming back to racing are a big part of this program. Same approach as with club swimmers, adjusted for time and recovery realities.
A different level might fit better.
